- Enter your ID number and password into the appropriate boxes and click on the “Login” button.
- You will be taken to your personal home page where you can view your current account information and recent activity.
If you are not a current CSUF student, faculty, or staff member, please follow these instructions to create an account:
- Click on the “Register New Account” link in the upper left-hand corner of the Portal home page.
- Enter your first and last name in the appropriate boxes and click on the “Register” button.
- You will be taken to a registration form where you will need to provide your name, email address, birth date, gender, and campus affiliation (CSUF or other).

HOW TO RESET YOUR FORGOTTEN PASSWORD AT CSUF PORTAL?
If you have forgotten your password at the CSUF Portal, here is how to reset it.:
- Log in to the CSUF Portal at http://portal.csuf.edu.
- Click on “My Account” in the top right corner of the screen.
- Under “Account Settings,” click on “Password.”
- Type in your current password and click on “Change Password.”
- Type in a new, memorable password and click on “Save.”
- Click on “Log Out” at the bottom of the screen to close the Password window.
